My Favoret things in science class

Astronomy- i am not that interested in Astronomy, but one thing that i did have fun doing was learning about the stars. I liked learning about stares because they just got my attention. one thing i thought was cool was that most of the stares are dead, but just like a week ago i heard on t.v that there was life from one. well that they know of, there might be more that are alive.i don't really remember any of the projects that we did with stares but i do remember that we took notes and talked a lot about it. stares was my favorite thing out of all the astronomy stuff but it wasn't my favorite out of all the things that we learned.

Weather and Climate (Earth's Atmosphere)- i didn't like this section ether but out of all the stuff we learned i would have to say that weather patterns was my favorite.it was mt favorite because it was easy and i liked learning about all the different tips of whether.once agen i cant remember what kind of project we did. all i really remember is that i got a hold of this section really fast.this still isn't my favoret thing i learned out of this hole year to tell you the truth i didn't like this section at all.

Geology-This is parable my favorite subject that we did.I don't know why but it was.my favorite thing that we worked on was rocks and minerals.i liked this subject because it was fun and for some reason it interested me.my favorite project that we did on minerals was when we had to test out the mineral. i liked it when we had to scratch it agents tile and see what color it made.that was really cool.

Weathering and Erosion-i didnt like this subject because it was really boring.i dont remeber much but i do remeber that we had to make a photo book of some sort.that was probable the funnest thing that we did on this project.that project was hard for me because i couldnt tell wat kind of erosion it was so i just pit pictures that didnt fit what i wastalking about.

Earth's Waters- i didnt like this subject eather because it was boring too.my favoret part was probley would have to be the penny project and i dont even know if that was for this project.but i did learn alot on this subject.over all the minerals was my favoret and it was the funest.

Water

Both Manitou and Colorado Springs drinking water both come from the same source the "Rocky Mountains." After analysis and purification Manitou's water is then distributed to Crystal hills water tanks, while Colorado Springs water is distributed to Fountain Creek. Each water source is analyzed and purified continuously for the satisfaction of the customer, us. Manitou has a totall of 750 acres and colorado springs has a totall of 22o,900 acres. Colorado Springs water has to travel 200 miles through pipes. Manitou Springs water does'nt travel near as far.

1)I'm researching how reusing is a big part of recycling.

2)My conclusion is that when you recycle you end up reusing the things that you have already recycled like paper and cardboard. every thing that you use gets turned in to some thing else that you can use .some things citizens can do to help is just recycle there trash and to only use things that have already bean recycled.


3)if no one listen to my recommendations then sooner or later we would run out of materials and if we threw are trash away with out recycling it then are earth would become polluted and one giant dump.

4)if every one listened to my recommendations then we wouldn't have so much trash covering the earth and are earth wouldn't be so polluted.

Penny Project

to day we had to see how many drops of water we could fit on a penny with out it overflowing.i prodictid that i would only be able to fit 10-15 dops of water on there,but i got up to 20-23 drops on there.the reson i think i got the water to stay on the penny is becouse i did really small drops and the ride on the penny helped alot.another reson i think i got the water to stay on there is becouse of the gravity or something like that.
